I wish to know about the dress code for parties and get-togethers. The dress code for a particular party (scheduled for next week) is mentioned as "Smart casuals." May I know what this means?
When I referred to the content online, it briefly stated that the dresses should be "smart" enough to conform to the particular standards of Western social groups. As our get-together will only have Indians from the North and the South, what should we wear? What does this term "smart" refer to? Should it be formal? Should we wear ties?
