Dear All,
Being an HR Professional we are have great amount of experience,Knowledge of various industries. But my question of today for all is..........As being an HR person with an experience of 3-4 yrs is it advisable to change one's sector/industry(if getting a good chance) or should stay in the same sector/ industry(eg retail) and gain experience.
Should one stay in only one line and gain experience or should change its industry(in the early years of job) .
Kindly throw some light on this issue....

It depennds on individuals perception, If you want to specialize in your domain then you can be in the same sector otherwise it is better to go to other sector, because nowadays the industry needs person who have wide knowledge considering that you can choose different sector

yes, you just go ahead with any good opportunity you get, do not get attached to any single thing, know all aspects of the HR function, I think it will give you advantage. regards

:D , never change your line unless you are not confident about your other skills or abilities.

"search for the knowledge"......... where you can mould the knowledge into skills that adds value to your career.
so, change is required.. change the industry(when u feel that u hade learnt ) but a constant change is required.i.e, change the industry when u get knowledge with experience in a particular field.
i think u should change the industry for every 2-3 years that is good to u.and u can stay in it when u are interested in that company.
with regards
valbooj..
