Hi Shamil, Thats an excellent article. In my current organization, I have implemented a complete automated system to manage the process. This is a web based solution. Regards, Srivathsa

Hi Shamil,

Good to see recommendations for effectively using IT for HR. I have always been a promoter of technology to increase productivity. The main bottlenecks I have faced in my endeavor are:

1. No interest of the HR to learn and adapt to technology as they feel comfortable doing things manually.
2. Reluctance on the part of the Top Line to enforce automation.
3. Fear of data being accessible to many.

Though these were a few of the manageable challenges, the biggest obstacle was creating a shift in attitude towards technology! I am sure that with more and more techno-savvy HR professionals adding up, it would not be long before everything is automated, and we would see a paperless and eco-friendly office.

Cheers! Brillian
