I have worked in NCR during the years 2010-2013. I got selected in a state PSU and joined in January 2013 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Here, NPS is applicable.

Now, I want to withdraw my PF amount for the period of 2010-2013, but they are asking for a UAN number, which I don't have currently. I have contacted the local regional EPF office in Indore, and they suggested going to Delhi to submit an application to convert my old EPF account to a UAN number so that I can withdraw the PF amount.

Is there an online facility for converting EPF to UAN?

Is there an online facility available in EPF where I can convert my old EPF account number to a new UAN number to withdraw my EPF amount? Or is there another process I can follow? Kindly provide your valuable guidance on this.

To generate a UAN number from an old EPF number for the purpose of withdrawing EPF, you can follow these steps:

Contact EPFO Helpdesk:
- Reach out to the EPFO helpdesk through their official website or toll-free number to inquire about the process of converting your old EPF account number to a UAN number.

Visit Nearest EPF Office:
- If online conversion is not available, visit the nearest EPF office in your area, as suggested by the Indore office, to submit an application for converting your old EPF account to a UAN number.

Application Submission:
- Submit a written application stating your request to convert your old EPF account number to a UAN number for withdrawal purposes. Include necessary details like your old EPF account number, personal information, and contact details.

Verification Process:
- The EPF office will process your application and verify the provided details to link your old EPF account with a new UAN number.

Check UAN Generation Status:
- After submitting the application, regularly follow up with the EPF office to check the status of your UAN generation. They may provide you with a timeline for the process.

Withdrawal Process:
- Once your old EPF account is successfully linked to a UAN number, you can proceed with the EPF withdrawal process using the newly generated UAN.

Additional Assistance:
- If you encounter any issues or delays during the conversion process, seek assistance from the EPFO helpdesk or visit the EPF office for further guidance.

By following these steps, you should be able to convert your old EPF account number to a UAN number, enabling you to withdraw your EPF amount efficiently. 🚤
