Dear All,
Good morning. I would like to request your valuable suggestions for the following query. Our organization has two wings of employees: the Project team and on-rolls. Due to a change in our management, we are currently transitioning a few existing project team employees to on-rolls. For various reasons, they have been part of the project team but performing on-roll responsibilities. All of them joined in August 2022. Now, we need to issue an appointment letter from the Date of Joining (DOJ). In this case, should we mention the current date as the date of issuance and their date of joining as August 2022? If so, should we include a clause recognizing and considering their service period with DOJ?
Thank you for your assistance.
