If the employee has not come to work, you should not have paid any salary. If no salary was paid, no contribution would have been made. Therefore, how can the family members receive any amount from the PF? Simply inform them that the employee did not work, no wages were paid, and consequently, there would be nothing to withdraw. Simultaneously, if the employee had contributions from previous employment, you can assist the family members in withdrawing the PF.
