Employer's EPF Contribution During Maternity Leave: Is It a Must?


Is it mandatory for the employer to deposit an employer part of EPF while a female employee is on maternity leave?

Hi, Yes as Employer is liable to pay salary during Maternity period ( for 182 days) obviously both Employer and Employer contribution of PF needs to be paid.
