Hi! I have applied to a company for a new role, and they have initiated the BGV process. However, my University has not responded despite my attempts to reach out. This lack of response is causing a delay in my joining at the new company. Interestingly, my current company, where I am currently employed, also conducted a BGV without encountering such issues. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. What would be the best approach to ensure the successful completion of the BGV process?

We do not work for the university, so there is nothing we can do to help you there. Your only option is to keep trying to reach the university for an explanation. Are you able to go to the university and speak to them in person? It is easy to ignore phone calls, but if you are there in front of them, they cannot make an excuse.

In any case, I believe it is up to your company to follow up with the university for answers. They will have more authority than you to speak to them.
