I am an ex-banker. I took a promotion to officer in 2015. After the promotion, the bank continued to pay clerical wages despite my repeated requests. In June 2017, the bank was suspended and I was dismissed in October 2018. A criminal case was filed for misappropriation of amount xxx in September 2017. The amount xxx was recovered in June 2017 from the staff od account.
The case is still ongoing.
In 2020, the bank placed a hold on my savings account stating that the amount xxx has not been recovered yet. I have informed the bank that the amount has been recovered and provided statements, but the bank has not responded to my letters.
I am seeking suggestions on how the hold on the account can be removed. Also, any suggestions on how to address the difference in pay would be appreciated.
