I asked my employer during my leave to provide me with a detailed salary breakdown as they have been making unauthorized deductions from it. However, they denied my request and are only providing me with the most recent salary information.

How to Request a Complete Salary Breakdown

How can I effectively request the company to provide me with a complete salary list so that they cannot deny it?

Your query lacks clarity. Assuming that your organization has not been issuing salary slips and, upon your insistence, they have provided you with the most recent one, you need to follow up with your HR for the remaining pay slips. There may be some concerns on their end, which is why the previous slips have not been issued.

Issuance of Salary Slips

The issuance of a salary slip is a statutory requirement, and any unauthorized deduction from your salary is a very serious matter. It is essential to follow up with your employer, and if all attempts fail, you may need to consider lodging a complaint with the local labor officer.

To clarify all the things, they are deducting some amount from my monthly salary, and as I left the company, they are not giving me that deducted money. They are saying it is a bonus and will not be given if you leave in the middle of the year.

My point is, if it is a bonus, it cannot be deducted from my salary as a bonus is separate from it. So I asked them to provide me with a detailed salary sheet, but they are only insisting on giving me a breakdown of the salary, not the money deducted. They call it "CTC annexure."

I asked the CEO to meet to resolve this matter, but he is not ready to meet and tries to end everything via HR. HR is a fresher and only says that this is company policy as they will do it in compliance with it.

I asked them if they are not ready to give me this deducted money, as they are saying it is a bonus, I asked them to provide this in written form, which they are just ignoring.

This is the whole story of me. That's why I am asking for a detailed sheet. They have not given me a single slip at all.

So for this reason, I was asking how I can obtain a copy of a detailed sheet.

Hi, Any component (whatever term used) that forms part of the gross salary should be paid to the employee.

Employment Duration and Queries

How long have you worked, and did you raise this question while you were in service?

Appointment Order and Salary Annexure

At the time of joining, did you receive your appointment order with the salary annexure?

Bonus Clause in Appointment Order

Is there any clause mentioned in the appointment order that states you should complete a minimum period to claim a bonus?

Statutory Bonuses

Nowadays, many employers pay statutory bonuses on a monthly basis by dividing a portion of the gross salary as a bonus, which is not right.

You may talk to your HR again and inform them that if your concern is not resolved, you will be forced to approach the labor office for a remedy. They might respond to it.

I have worked there for 2 years and three months. I was never told that if I left the company in the middle of the deduction year, I would not receive the deducted money. I asked them on a call, but the only thing they said is it will be given at year-end.

I have an appraisal letter in which they mentioned Rs. 40k as gross remuneration. But the salary I received was 37,800 after deduction. There's no mention of the deduction of money and bonus in any of my appointment or appraisal letters. They only told me verbally that this amount would be deducted and given at year-end during appraisal.

There's no mention of the minimum period to claim money. They just told me they have a policy not to give money. When I asked them to provide me this answer in written form, they just ignored it. I asked HR multiple times but only got one reply that she will be explaining CTC face-to-face. They are completely ignoring the deduction and not even providing me a salary sheet which I asked for.
