Industrial Accident Tragedy: Can a Nominee Claim Both EDLI and Employees' Compensation Benefits?


Could the nominee of a worker who died in an industrial accident receive benefits under both the EDLI as well as the Employees Compensation Act at the same time?

Hi, Yes the nominee can claim for both as both are different. If the Memebr is contributing to PF at the time death then nominee of the Member can apply for EDLI/ PF/Pension as well.
