Piece-Rate Contracts and PF Compliance: Am I Responsible for the Manufacturer's Obligations?

I placed an order with a manufacturer on a piece-rate basis. For example, for pens, I ordered 100,000 pieces at an agreed-upon rate. In this case, am I liable for the PF compliance of the manufacturer to whom I have given the piece-rate contract?

Hi, The manufacturer will ensure proper setup of the facility to meet all compliance requirements. You are simply purchasing the product from the manufacturer and not hiring them as contractors for your premises, so you will not be held liable.
