Hi, In the case of the death of a PF Pensioner, the spouse can claim 50 percent of the pension. Please contact the PF Pension disbursing branch with the death certificate of the pensioner, a copy of the Aadhaar of the beneficiaries, bank account details (original cancelled cheque or attested copy of bank passbook) of the beneficiaries, and proof of age in the case of children.

Eligibility for Widow's Pension
If a member of EPFO dies, then his or her spouse will be eligible for a widow's pension. The pension will be paid to financially support the widow until his/her death or remarriage. If there is more than one widow, then the amount will be payable to the eldest widow.
Lump Sum Payment to Nominee
In the case of the death of a member during the service period, the nominee or legal heir of an active member of EPFO receives a lump sum payment of up to Rs. 7 lakh.
