Hi,

As such, there is no provision for period leave in India. However, employers may, at their discretion, sanction 2-3 days of leave per month for female employees. This leave will be in addition to the regular leave entitlement or can be adjusted from accrued leave.

Alternatively, wherever there is a provision for the Work From Home option, female employees can be given this alternative to avoid traveling to the office. This option can help reduce additional physical strain on female employees.
