Hello Sir’s / Seniors, Can anybody suggest me whether an employee who earlier was covered in ESIC and at present is out of coverage limit, can he/she claim for ESIC benefit.

Hi, Obviously, when the employee is out of coverage, he/she cannot claim ESIC benefits. However, if an employee's salary increases during the middle of the contribution period (April to September & Oct to March) to the extent that he/she exceeds the ESI ceiling salary, then the employee must continue to contribute to ESI until the end of the contribution period. The employee is also eligible for ESI benefits until the end of the contribution period.
