Hi Team, I'm looking for some help. X number of employees work in my current organization and for a client that pays us XX amount as a retainer on a monthly basis. Each of the employees dedicates a certain amount of time daily to completing work for the particular client. Also, the company has business overheads (rent, maintenance, utility bills, and equipment). I need to find out the amount paid by the client every month. Are we paid correctly, or are we underpaid? Can someone please help me out? Thanks in advance.

Dear Aaron D. Cruz,

The payment for your services will depend on the type of contract you have with the company. What type of contract is it? The different types of contracts are:

a) Fixed Price Contracts
b) Cost-reimbursable Contracts
c) Time-and-materials Contract

You may check Google and find out the definitions of the above contracts. Thereafter, you may check the contract agreement. You will get clarity once you do this check.

Employee Productivity and Cost

The heading of your post talks about employee productivity and cost. How do you measure employee productivity? Is the payment linked to productivity? To read more about labor productivity, you may click the following link:
