My friend left his job at the company on 18 Feb 2021 due to personal reasons and joined another company on 25th Feb. Now, his old company has given him FNF and Form 16 with the mentioned date 19 Feb, but on the relieving letter, it is mentioned as 03 March. His current employer is accusing him of dual employment and asked him to resign immediately or they will terminate him. They want him to resign first because he is a highly skilled person and has not committed any fraud in his life. Please advise on what should be done.
