Hi, Is it an issue if a worker joins as a new employee in the same factory but is shifted to a new location, after returning from his native post covid lockdown? Thanks / Maya

Dear Maya,

The information provided is incomplete. Please confirm to us:

a) whether the services of the employee were discontinued because of the COVID-19 pandemic. After discontinuation of the services, did you clear his FnF settlement?
OR
b) the employee was on the roll, but he was given Leave Without Pay (LWP).
c) the terms and conditions mentioned in the appointment letter regarding the transfer of an employee.
