I have an issue with my last company, MNC, as I was asked to leave despite achieving 100% performance. I have also resigned, but they did not make the FnF clear in all respects. The variable performance incentive mentioned in the appointment letter has not been given. Apart from pursuing legal action, what should I do? Can any government department be informed about this unethical practice concerning Indian citizens? Please advise.

Dear Colleague,
Kindly approach the employer for all reasonable claims due to you. Escalate to the highest authority of the organization for help and get your dues paid by submitting all your claims with substantial genuine proofs from your side. If there is no reply, then only you may go for legal action.
Workman under the Industrial Disputes Act
If you are a "Workman" under the Industrial Disputes Act, based on the nature of your job (depending on your service nature and non-managerial or supervisory role up to a certain wage limit, etc.), you may file a claim with the Labour Department for intervention. You can address your concerns with the Labour Department for a remedy.
Managerial or Supervisory Role
If you are in a managerial or supervisory role (with a salary up to 6500/- per month), you can pursue a Civil Case for a breach of the Appointment Order as a breach of contract and claim compensation. However, before taking legal action (which involves a lengthy process and expenses), try to approach the employer and amicably resolve to get your dues paid.
