Bonus clarification - If an employee joined in the month of March 2021 is he applicable for getting the bonus this year?

Hi all, As per our Bonus act 1965 - If an employee joined in the month of March 2021 is he applicable for getting the bonus, and on which period should we consider for the bonus calculations as per act financial year or normal cycle. can you please guide us on this?
