Dear Tutors, should all industries (IT/ITES/hotel/factories/shops) obtain a fire & safety license for keeping fire extinguishers? Recently, one of the IT industries employing 25 resources in Chennai was inspected by labor officials who asked for a license to keep a fire extinguisher. They gave a time limit to submit the same by next Wednesday. However, when we asked the vendor from whom we purchased, they also did not know where to obtain it.
Hence, please share your advice on where to acquire the license if it is required.
