Dear sir,
My name is Sangappa Gondi, and I am currently employed in a private construction company. I am seeking guidance on how to update my Aadhaar number in my UAN. In my UAN portal, it appears that the Aadhaar number and UAN number are the same. Therefore, I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter.

After logging in, follow the screenshot and go to basic details > modify basic details > enter the data exactly as per the Aadhar card > submit. Remember, you have to input all data such as name, date of birth, and Aadhar number exactly as per the original Aadhar card. The portal will fetch data from the Aadhar site, and if it is found correct by UIDAI, it will allow you to submit. Once submitted, you can ask the employer to verify it with a DSC.
If unable to do so, seek help from any office staff. The Umang mobile app issued by the Government of India is working well with the provident fund works of employees.
Alternatively, file a joint declaration regarding the change duly signed and countersigned by the employer, along with the requisite documents attested by the employee and countersigned by the employer. (Search for "joint declaration" in the files; you can find the same.)
