There are scores of software available in the market on PMS. Does your company want to buy software only for PMS? But then why was the need felt? Most of the HRMS are comprehensive and cover the PMS module as well.
By the way, whatever software you use, the inputs of measurement or what you measure are most important. PMS fails not because the companies do not have the software, but because they do not measure what deserves to be measured. They do not measure because instead of hiring external measurement experts, they rely on HR or HODs. However, hardly do they realize that devising measures of performance is a very specialized competence. Only one in a thousand individuals possesses it. Therefore, I request you to look at this larger issue as well and not just the technical aspect of this important HR intervention.
