Staff have a dual role in group companies, with PF and Gratuity remaining with the principal company. Is it mandatory to include those staff involved in group companies in PF and Gratuity? Please let us know for clarity and a clear picture for dual-role staff.

In a 'group company', there will be a lot of financial interdependency among the companies. When there exists financial interdependency, the PF and other labor authorities can group these different establishments together for coverage of various enactments. Therefore, the employees in group companies shall be covered by the Gratuity Act, PF Act, and other Labor Acts or certain sections of the Acts for the coverage of such Acts.
