My company is planning on providing the caution deposit for a rental property for our staff. The agreement will be in the name of one of our employees, and the rent will also be paid by them.

You can ask the employee to submit a copy of the rent agreement to the company, and the company can pay the money by issuing a cheque or direct deposit to the owner's account. This will help you avoid misuse of money.

Have a clear policy.

What will happen if there is a dispute between the house owner and tenant/employee? How will the company ensure a refund of money from the owner who is a third party? Take all possibilities into account and then, as per local laws, frame a uniform policy.
