For your information, an ESIC Update - ATAL BIMIT VYAKTI KALYAN YOJNA has been rolled out.
Highlights:
1. IPs can avail super specialty benefits by serving only 6 months (with a minimum of 78 days contribution) as opposed to the previous requirement of 2 years.
2. Dependents of IPs can avail super specialty benefits with insurable employment of 1 year (with a minimum of 156 days contribution).
3. There is an increase in Funeral Expenses from the existing Rs. 10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/-, which will be paid to dependents in case of the death of the Insured Person.
4. Employers will receive a reimbursement of Rs. 10/- per person to encourage the seeding of Aadhar Cards in the ESIC Database for their workers and their family members.
