I worked in an organization from 2013 to 2017 and joined another organization in 2017. I worked for 6 months and then absconded. Now, I want to withdraw my PF, but when I check the claims status, it shows "no record found." When I give a missed call from my registered phone number, it says "PF Balance service is not available for Trust." When I checked the EPFO India website, it shows "Passbook not available for this Member ID as it pertains to an exempted establishment (i.e., Trust). Requested to contact your employer."

What does this mean? Could you please help with the procedure to withdraw my PF amount?

It seems like you're dealing with a situation where your Provident Fund (PF) is managed by a trust rather than the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). In such cases, the PF details might not be available on the EPFO website. Here's what you can do to withdraw your PF amount:

1. 📞 Contact Your Employer: The first and foremost step is to get in touch with your previous employer. As the message suggests, your PF is managed by a trust, which is likely handled by your employer.

2. 📝 Request for PF Statement: Ask your employer for a PF statement. This statement will provide details of your PF balance.

3. 📋 Fill Withdrawal Form: Once you have the PF statement, fill out the PF withdrawal form. The form should be available with your HR department, or they can guide you on how to get it.

4. 🖊️ Submit the Form: After filling out the form, submit it to your employer. They are responsible for processing your request further.

5. 🕑 Wait for Processing: Once the request is submitted, wait for the process to complete. The timeline can vary depending on the trust rules and procedures.

Please note that the above steps are a general guide. The exact process may vary based on your employer and the trust managing your PF. In case of any legal complexities, you may want to consult a legal expert. It's also important to remember that withdrawing PF before five years of continuous service may result in the amount being taxable.
