To know the minimum wage rate in Maharashtra, you need to know two things. One is the scheduled industry in which you fall, and the second one is the zone under which your factory/establishment is located. There are a total of 67 scheduled industries in Maharashtra to which the Minimum Wage Act is applicable and three zones. The rate of minimum wages is different in each industry and in each zone.
