Can you explain the PF transfer process (manually)? Are there any charges applicable when submitting form 13 to the PF department? If charges are applicable, how much would it be approximately?

First of all, there is no charge for PF transfer, whether online or offline. If the employee's previous employer has a trust, then he can generate online Form 13 (R) and submit it to EPFO, along with one copy to the previous employer for settlement. The previous employer will deposit the PF amount with EPFO by cheque, and EPFO will credit the same to his PF account. Additionally, his pension service will be transferred by EPFO.
