Hello, I am starting to work as an HR professional with one of the pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. Here, I have found that our HR administration calculates our employees' salaries based on only 30 days every month. However, we all know that in a calendar year, we have 7 months with 31 days, 4 months with 30 days, and 1 month with 28 days.

Please let me know if my company is engaging in unethical practices or if there is a violation of rules, regulations, or compliance laws.

Hi Abhishek, Salary need to be calculated based on the no of days in that particular month and need to maintain wage register. Call or revert for any assistance.
