Dear Seniors,
I am working in the wooden furniture manufacturing industry. We have a Carpentry, Painting & Polishing, Finishing, Dispatch section. We had set up salaries and designations as per company policy and minimum wages, but I am thinking of setting up the growth for each employee for each position. Kindly suggest on what basis and how I should prepare a growth structure for our employees.

I understand that you want to create an employee performance matrix. Firstly, prepare a hierarchy chart with all available personnel, taking into consideration the skills and qualifications required for each position. Later, develop a skill gap analysis and create a plan to reduce these gaps, which will contribute to the individual employee's growth plan.
In other words, if an employee possesses the necessary skills, qualifications, and dedication to their work, they can be promoted to the next level internally with the approval of the relevant department heads.
