Whenever somebody transfers their PF amount, their pension amount does not transfer. I want to ask the senior, where does this amount go? I know the length of service increases, but the pension amount should be transferred.

That accumulate amount of EPS does not affect your pension amount .... pension amount is calculate by no of service ×pensionable salary ÷ 70.... So that amount not goes anywhere .... 100% safe ....

Dear Ravi,

While your PF account had linkage with the employer code (i.e., before the UID linkage), the pension account had no such linkage. Therefore, your PF account used to change with every change of employer, but this was not necessary for the pension account.

Thank you.

Dear Ravi,

When a member links their UAN with a new establishment, the new establishment pays the contributions to the same UAN, so it is not necessary to transfer the EPS. Only the linkage of the UAN is necessary.

In the case of an exempted establishment for EPS, the member must submit Form 13 to transfer the EPS amount to the new establishment, according to the formula provided in the scheme.

The same procedure applies when transferring from an exempted establishment for EPS to the RPFC.

Thanks,
