Hello All,

I am in a pharma R&D company working in Reception. I handle around 100 calls a day, in addition to attending guests and passing on daily messages, which makes the day hectic. Along with these responsibilities, my boss is asking me to manage the canteen as well. We have outsourced the canteen contract. There are three food counters and three registers for employee entries since we have around 350 employees. I then have to transfer these entries from the registers to Excel. This task is challenging because many people don't write their names or codes properly. Additionally, I collect Lunch Opting forms signed by employees, which rarely match 100% with the register data. Can anyone suggest a way to simplify the lunch system?

You can take help of:

1. Biometric Punching System in the Canteen Area for Canteen Attendance purposes.
2. Use coupons for canteen usage in advance on a monthly/bimonthly/quarterly basis.
3. Make it compulsory for those who don't want canteen food to inform on a monthly basis. Otherwise, all other employees will be charged for the canteen despite their usage.
