If the concerned employee is not covered under ESIC, then benefits to be given by a company such as maternity bonus and paid leave as per the prescribed law. In case of miscarriage: No employer shall knowingly employ a woman in any establishment during the six weeks immediately following the day of her delivery [miscarriage or medical termination of pregnancy].
