Understanding Minimum Wages: Central vs. State

As regards wages, the Central Minimum Wages and State Minimum Wages differ. Certainly, when an organization provides wages adhering to the central labor law, they have to adopt the same for the employees, and there may be no relevance with the state. However, when the minimum wages are fixed according to the state labor act, you should adapt the procedures of the state laws. The NOC and the related laws come into effect. Kindly find out the relationship between labor and the law that your company follows. I have attached an e-book related to Tamil Nadu for reference, which will clear your doubts.
