Dear Sir/Madam,

I have applied for a loan at a private bank, and they are requesting an experience certificate from my current company, where I am still employed. Could you please provide me with the format of an experience certificate?

Thank you.

Hi Vishnu,

What are you trying to do? The bank would have asked for an experience certificate from the previous employers or an employment letter from your present company to acknowledge that you are currently employed with that organization. Typically, most banks, in addition to the salary slips/bank statements you provide, would prefer an employment letter confirming the same. Please double-check this requirement carefully. Also, I am unsure why you would need a sample format of the experience letter?

Thank you.

Whenever any loan is applied for by an individual through a bank, the application form itself contains a space for the employer's certificate, which should be sufficient for the loan-providing bank. Why require a separate letter?

Vishnu,

I understand that not all employers will have the facility to provide a loan to their employees. Please speak with the bank to find out what they are looking for and try to arrange it through your current employer.
