It will be Applicable for all employees, skilled / non skilled / semi skilled. only for aaya / office boy etc. salary treated as wages / on daily wages, will not be applicable...

There is no classification of employees envisaged under the ESI Act. Every employee drawing wages up to Rs. 15,000/- per month, including contract workers, is covered by ESI, provided the establishment is covered by the ESI Act.

thanks #abhishek the company am working for does not provide esi or pf. why is that so? am not contract based worker. my salary is Rs.12000 per month. canu u plz help me???
