I received an offer from Wells Fargo on a contract basis for 8 months. They mentioned that if my performance is good and if there are any vacancies at that time, I can become permanent. Otherwise, I may have to leave the organization. So, please advise me on whether I should accept the offer or not.

Hi John,

It's an opportunity for you to have better growth and to learn new things. Firstly, it's an MNC where you can have a better career for a limited period, as you mentioned, and you may become permanent if your performance is good. So, I think you can use this opportunity. In the worst case, you may have to leave the organization after 8 months, during which you will have a notice period to search for a new job.

Seniors, please correct me if anything is wrong.

Thank you.

Dear John,

Take full support and facilitation from your seniors. Exhibit good behavior and prepare notes of your learning. You must have an attitude of being a front runner, taking ownership of responsibilities, and reporting to your seniors consistently.

Take it seriously that the 8-month period is an opportunity to prove yourself as an inseparable asset. Normally, we are accustomed to facing a 3-month probation period, whereas it is 8 months for you. Do not focus on the time passing; you will become a permanent employee once you receive the confirmation letter.

So, work hard and create value additions in your assignments.

Best wishes,
