Dear All,

Please help me with regard to the policies we need to adhere to for a private limited company located in Hyderabad. Also, there is a revised Maternity policy; if someone can share the latest version, I would appreciate it.

Guide me on what to refer to in case of any changes or updates in statutory laws pertaining to Hyderabad, India.

Hi Deepti,

Regarding the new maternity policy, yes, it has been passed by the cabinet ministers. However, it will still take time for the implementation stage as the following procedures have to be completed.

Once a bill is passed, it has to receive the President's assent, and then there will be the release of a gazette notification. Until the gazette notification is released, the newly proposed amendment rules will not be in force.

Regarding other acts, it varies based on the nature and size of the organization.
