Hi, sir. I have signed a bond for two years. In the case of breaking it, I have to pay 100000. However, due to my health issues in that place, I had to leave. I was only at the company for two days and didn't receive any training from them. The bond clearly states that if I break it, I must pay 100000 for the training, but I was only there for two days. Now, they are pressuring me to pay the amount. Is this legal?

Please talk to a lawyer at your earliest. The amount mentioned in the bond was for some kind of training that would be imparted to you. Since you spent barely 2 days, you haven't attended it. You need strong communication to be sent to them challenging the bond.
Please act fast. The employer is merely bullying you. Wish you all the best!

Legal Steps for Document Retrieval
Please talk to a lawyer and lodge an FIR if your employer is refusing to return your documents. Write to them first and give them a time limit to return the documents. Lodge an FIR if you don't receive them after that time period. Holding documents is unlawful. Please act fast before they cause you more damage.
Next time onwards, submit photocopies and not the originals. Keep the originals at a distant place where it will take days to bring them. Under no circumstances should you hand them to anyone, ever!

Well advised above by our learned members. I would like to add/repeat here:
1. For the PAN/Aadhaar card, immediately lodge an FIR at the police station. They cannot keep any original documents with themselves.
2. Immediately respond with strong language stating that you are not liable to pay the amount.
For both 1 & 2, you should consult a lawyer when getting the letters drafted (especially for point 2).

NASSCOM does not blacklist any employees just by an employer blacklisting him/her. NASSCOM's department has the National Skills Registry (NSR) function wherein employees own the registration of their skills profile. These are mere threats by employers.

Hello all,
I have left my last employer (big MNC) in 7 days (2 days induction), and I am an experienced candidate. Also, they haven't provided any sort of training even though I worked from the very first day. Now, they are asking for 2 lakhs as per the service level contract. Am I liable to pay?

Such a contract is not valid in a general sense. The company can only recover the cost of special training, if any, provided to you. However, since the company has demanded Rs. 2 lacs, it is advisable to consult a lawyer and give a proper reply.
