I have been working in a company for 10 months now. My joining letter states - 'In case if you want to leave the company, you will have to give two months' prior notice of your resignation and you will be bound to work at least one year with the company. Your probation period is fixed for 6 months from the day of joining.'

So, is it legal and perfect to give the resignation notice now? Because I will be completing one year in 2 months.

Notice period is also treated as company service. It should be in order, to my opinion.
