Hi !
We have got nearly 500 books in our company library on various subjects - technical, commercial, legal, QMS and General Mgt. These books are presently staked in cupboards in unorganised manner. I have been assigned the responsibility to make it organised.
The first thing I have done is to make a database these books (database is exaguration :) ). Infact I have put names of the books, author name, publisher and year of publication in excel sheet. Now I want some help in making the 'database' systematic, userfriendly in searching books and want to assign numbers to the books.
Need some help in formating the database and how the numbering should be done. Hope you people will have some ideas and experiences.
