I'm Ramesh, an IT Professional. I want to withdraw my EPF from my previous company (from which I resigned 6 months ago). I was asked to share the filled-in forms with the company's PF department, which I did 2.5 months ago. Since then, there has been no response from them. Yesterday, I received an email asking for the date of my form submission. I sent the forms through DTDC courier and have proof of delivery. I responded to them with this proof. I want to file a complaint against this kind of irresponsible behavior to expedite the process.
My PF office is in Gurugram. Can someone help me with the right contact to whom I can complain, take action, and expedite the process?

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Ramesh You can now submit your pf withdrawal form directly to PF office. Employer signatures are not mandatory as per new rules.

There is no provision in the PF rules to take action against the company for the above. It is your responsibility to fill the form, get it signed, and submit it to the department. You are required to follow up and get it done. The company is under no obligation to file it for you. The penalty is there for any company that refuses to sign it without a valid reason. In any case, now there is an online withdrawal facility. Check it out.
