Hi all,

Our company is an IT (US-based) company with 50 employees. We would like to redefine our leave policy. Could anybody suggest the leave policies followed in corporate, briefing about various types of leaves? How many leaves can be given to employees during the probation period, and at year-end, will the leave carry forward, or do we have to pay employees for the leave they have not used?

Can you please give suggestions on this?

Regards,
Vaishali

Hi Vaishali,

We offer HR consulting for companies like yours in areas such as framing HR policy, organization structure, etc. We have also supported a few of our clients with a leave management system - a dynamic application called "myPayroll" that helps employees apply for leave online, track the approval process, regularize their attendance, etc. This system allows users to view reports related to opening balances, accrual, usage, carry forwards, company leave policies, list of holidays for the year, leave balances of direct reportees, etc.

Additionally, HR can view information on timings/leave balances of all or selected sets of employees, update employee shifts, and have super admin rights for leave approvals. I would be happy to help you in framing a leave policy for your esteemed organization. Please share your contact details for a better understanding of your requirements.

You can write to Nirupa.k@paysquare.com or reach me at 9535423855 / 9739802627.

Thank you.

Please refer to the Shops and Establishment Act of your state to know the number of leaves to be provided. After that, you can search for the Leave Policy on the "Search" tab at the top of this page. You will find numerous policies that you can amend as per your needs.
