when an employee has Star Health Insurance then again why he should go for ESI what is the use & what is the difference between these two types of Insurances?

There is no question of other health insurance in place of ESIC. ESIC is statutory for all employees whose salary is less than 15K. There cannot be a better option than this. You need to cover all the employees under ESIC and remit contributions monthly without fail. ESIC is compulsory under a statute, but Star Health is optional and not compulsory.

No point comparing an optional scheme where you pay a premium from your own pocket with a government-run mandatory scheme like ESIC.

Terms and conditions for ESIC schemes and Star Health Schemes are totally different.
