On May 25th, I attended the walk-in interview at IBM for the position of HR recruiter. I cleared three rounds and was asked to leave for the day. The next day, I received a call from them informing me that I had been selected for the role in Hyderabad. I accepted their offer, and on June 1st, I submitted my documents to them.

As of today, June 10th, I have not yet received any confirmation or offer letter from them. They are pressuring me to join by next week. I am unsure whether I should join them before receiving the offer letter or not.

Kindly advise me on this matter. Thank you.

Joining a company without their formal appointment letter / offer letter is not good and can be dangerous with some companies. (I am not referring to any particular employer.) ASB
