One paragraph that explains life!
Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player, was dying of cancer. From all over the world, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does God have to select you for such a bad disease?" To this, Arthur Ashe replied: Worldwide, 5 crore children start playing tennis, 50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 5000 reach the Grand Slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to the semifinal, 2 to the finals. When I was holding a cup, I never asked God "Why me?" And today, in pain, I should not be asking God "Why me?"
Happiness keeps you sweet, trials keep you strong, sorrow keeps you human, failure keeps you humble, success keeps you glowing, but only God keeps you going.

Hi Vikram,
That's a nice one. This small paragraph holds a very significant message for all of us. No matter what happens to you in this life, learn to be happy with that.
Well, it's a difficult one to implement. How does one reconcile with the situation of losing a family in a car accident or going through a bad phase?
I believe that we all have our problems/issues like these, and those who overcome them by being positive become winners. Take the instance of Lance Armstrong who lost his legs yet went on to become a champion in a bicycle marathon!
Cheers,
Rajat

"Sorrow keeps you human,
Failure keeps you humble."
Dear friends,
I disagree with the above. Let us not rationalize the negatives as positive, but we must learn positives from negatives. Let us not die prematurely, that is, at 68. That is life.

Hi,
It's really inspiring. One should not be afraid of problems and the situations that come to him. That is the attitude that matters. Never say to life "WHY ME" but say "TRY ME."
Thanks.
