Understanding Employee Turnover

What is the reason behind employees leaving the company after a few months of joining? The reason is not always the pay scale; it is sometimes the environment they work in. When you plan to start a new company or a business, you need to follow a certain work culture that will make your employees satisfied and help your company to grow.

Tips for Building a Better Work Environment

Below are a few tips that would help you to build a better work environment for your employees, as listed by Huff Post Business.

Wishing you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2014.

Understanding Employee Expectations and Retention

This is a concise, well-made presentation. When a new incumbent joins an organization, a two-way communication begins. As much as the employer has expectations, the employee also has their own. One should be prudent to identify this as an HR manager. Expectations are good, but from either side, it must be realized that the required time has to be given. The mismatch that comes in the form of undue expectation, expecting results too fast, cultural disparities, etc., are some of the reasons why people leave (unless they have nowhere else to go).

Excellent effort, Ramesh Bharadwaj. You need to develop a culture of happiness in an organization, as I read in some blog, to make the employees stay longer with you. This PPT helps build such a culture.
