Hi all,
I want help, or rather, information.
I was working in a small manufacturing company in Pune. I left the job for better prospects. But when I left the job, I asked for final settlement but did not receive any PF amount. When I asked, our MD told me that the company does not have any PF code. However, to my knowledge, a 12% PF deduction was made from our salary monthly. I worked there for 1.5 months. Our salary was in cash. After that, I found out that many employees were not on the muster roll. The HR was the wife of our MD, sir. When I asked for an appointment letter, she used to say that I would receive it when I needed it for the next company. Now, my new company is asking me for the appointment letter and experience letter. I received an experience letter, but they didn't mention the months of experience. It was my first job, so I was unaware of these fraudulent things. But now, I have informed all my working friends there about this issue, but no action has been taken. They also need help. Please suggest to me how I can get my PF and what I should do.
