I am working in a manufacturing company as an HR Executive. We are providing attendance incentives to our workers who have worked for 26 days in a month, excluding weekly offs. In June, there were 25 working days and 5 weekly offs, and in May 2013, there were 27 working days and 4 weekly offs. I would like to know if the attendance incentive is applicable in both months. Please reply with details. Also, if there are any gazetted holidays, would the incentive still apply?

Please help.

From your post, the attendance incentive rule/criteria for you is: "An employee will be entitled to earn 'ATTENDANCE INCENTIVE' if he/she attends all the working days in the particular month."

Definition of Working Days

Definition of working days = (all days of the month except weekly off and festival holidays/national holidays declared by the company).

Hope it is clear now.

Yes, the incentive is applicable for both May and June. In summary, employees who work all days except for weekly offs and company-listed holidays are entitled to the incentive. Only those who take their CL/SL/EL/LWP are not eligible for the incentive.

I hope this clarifies your query.
